The standard yellow launchers light up an E-class motor as well as this one ... So if you already have a launcher, you don't need this one in addition.

Estes, the leader in model rocketry, has developed a quality, simple and safe electrical launch controller.
I bought one of these for my son and we have used it without fail many times. It takes a couple of batteries, and the current from the batteries ignites an igniter (sold separately), which fires the rocket engine. The controller has several failsafes built into it that will ensure safe use. It comes with a long cord that enables the rocketeer to be a safe distance away from the launch pad.
This is a good product and I recommend it.

This controller is easy to use and has a very long lead wire so you can launch the rockets from a safe distance. For the price, a good device for the rocket enthusiast. A+++
