5Cheap and Fast  Jun 03, 2009 By Will Kalif "StormTheCastle"
This rocket is built for speed and for height. It is small with a very durable fin system. It is not a difficult rocket to make and it will take you about an hour to make it - depending on glue drying time. Everything about it is designed to minimize weight without sacrificing strength so it can go fast and high.
It has a streamer rather than a parachute which is a good thing because of the height it attains. With a parachute it could very well sail off quite a distance from your launch zone.
I like the solid fin system. They are stronger than normal. I found the recommended painting scheme to be a bit too much, even though I did it by the suggested way. You might just want to spray paint the whole thing one solid color.
Nice little rocket, cheap and fast.
Remember that this is just a rocket. You still have to purchase engines, wadding and a launcher if you are just starting out in the hobby.

5It Lives Up to Its Name  Jul 05, 2008 By Mark C. Petzold
This rocket really flies high, as its name suggests. I bought it for my 6 year old son, and he and I put it together (okay, mostly me). We painted it like the picture, and it looks great. I used a silver sharpie to color the silver triangles on the fins, and that worked well. I'm not sure I have the fins on straight, however, since it seems to have a spin, but it goes straight up and very high, making for an exciting launch.

4Lives up to its name!  Jul 08, 2010 By S.B. "S. Brokov"
The hi-flyer lives up to its name, a bit too well! I put it together so carefully and painted it this cool yellow on black pattern. Just after the paint dried I ran out to the field to launch it. We did a few test launches on a different low flying rocket, just to get a sense of the wind conditions. It was dead calm. Unable to constrain myself I loaded a C6 and launched. I barely saw it go up, and never saw it again. Great model and a real thrill, just don't put too much effort into it!

5exceptional high flying rocket  Oct 18, 2009 By Todd V. "hobbymaster"
This rocket is exactly what it says. very durable also. make sure you paint it so it is easy to follow in the sky.

3Another one that can be improved  Jan 17, 2006 By William J. Eichelberger "I will not go quietly"
Like the Star Dart and the Sizzler, this kit features an external engine hook and hold down strap. This is a bad idea for a couple of reasons. First of all, it's ugly. Secondly it makes it more likely that your rocket will be damaged because todays Estes ejection charges can cause the engine hook to rip down the side of the rocket, rendering it useless. Best bet; do away with the hook and hold down strap and install an engine block, then hold the engine in with masking tape.
