The description says "BMW R1200 GS 1 12 scale diecast motorcycle by Maisto". What arrived was a plastic model. About the only metal on the model are the spring and a few screws. Not what I was expecting from Maisto.
Be aware also that the color is not yellow, rather white.
While the model doesn't have the die cast I had expected, it's a reasonable decent model. It has a faux telelever that isn't actually connected to the fork tubes. The center stand operates, while the side stand is non-operable. There is a rear shock, but no paralever articulation. For the price, that is probably to be expected. You can turn the front wheel, so it has some typical steering aspects of Maisto models.
Overall, expect to get your $12 worth, but it's not the die cast model the description suggests.

It is a nice model but it was not Yellow like the one shown. The one I received was Red and White.

I think this is a pretty good model, but I deducted a star because some of the details on the bike and the workmanship is, well, not quite what I expected. But for the price I think it's excellent

The bike was very detailed, exactly what I expected, from Maisto.
No dissapointments, great for the collector or for a toy for the kids.
