I should have trusted the other reviews. My grandson really wanted this truck because he loves construction trucks. However, when we opened it up on Christmas, all it would do is make the noise. The remote would not work and the truck would not move. I strongly recommend if you are looking for a remote control construction truck, you look elsewhere.

This is a sharp looking radio control truck. very nice detail good

I purchased this for my son. At first when turning on the switch on the bottom of the truck, the truck would not run. The two truck sound buttons on top of the cab worked but it would not move. I tried changing the batteries and it still wouldn't work. I was just about to box it back up for a return when I pushed the switch hard to the on position. The wheels moved and it worked until I switched it off again. If I pushed the switch hard to on it worked, if I didn't it wouldn't. After at least six times of turning it on and off and pushing it to on with a quick motion, it has worked ever since. I don't know what it was. I decided to keep the toy and my son plays with it almost daily and it works every time. I gave this three stars but if it had worked perfectly out of the box, I would have given it at least four. One note, the truck sounds are fairly loud, so if you are looking for a quiet toy, then keep that in mind. It is not any louder than toys with sound you get at other stores, but this like other toys can be a distraction to adults in the room. The truck is all plastic but even after it has run into furniture, no damage so far.

My grandson got this item for christmas, he loved it. Believe me this item goes fast. This item is very durable to survive little boys playing with this item.
