It's no surprise that I eventually broke my Rear Shock Tower on my Rustler. I was tempted to get another Rear Shock Tower by Traxxas but I decided to look around first.
I wanted to upgrade to aluminum but I quickly found out that aluminum doesn't absorb impact. It transfers it to what it's contected to which can easily break something else. With plastic it absorbs the impact and dramaticly lowers the chance of something breaking.
RPM is famous for its highly durable plastic. This Rear Shock Tower by RPM is excellent. It has a better look then Traxxas and isn't an exspensive upgrade. Easily a must buy if you ever break your Traxxas Rear Shock Tower.

By Dark_Jedi I have a Traxxas Rustler VXL and I've busted more parts than I care to admit. These RPM replacement parts are OUTSTANDING!! I've never had one break on me yet. I've mangled a few stock parts so I always replace them with RPM. Super quality and great fit.
