Good but don't get any dirt in it. Jun 16, 2011

Fan lasted two runs then died. After taking it apart I found a small amount of dirt in it from the area I was driving my Rustler through. I had tried to spray electric cleaning solution in it first to try to repair without any luck. I don't think it will give you a problem as long as you keep it squeaky clean and don't drive your traxxas in any dirty areas but where is the fun in that?

By Peter Desantis I bought this because my temps were getting out of control running a 3S. I already fried on ESC without it and now the ESC is never hot no matter how hard I run it (Only one Battery at a time). Pair this with the motor fan!

this is a cooling fan for an ESC it works like it should. if your looking at it then you should know what it is and does. it is perfect for doing it's job. the "plug and play" ability is easy. if you have a Traxxas VXL ESC it is cheep insurance.

By jwlisland This product is very nice for your traxxas truck . I have been hearing people say that when you get dirt in the fan it messes up and stops working . Well , that kind of common since there. All you need to do is buy the Gear Cover, Clear: Slash 4x4 or any other cover that will fit your model to keep out the dirt , so then the electronics will be protected and covered up and have a cooling fan to keep your esc cool. Over all It's a very nice product that will only do good .

By Dzylon This thing has operated perfectly for me. The average esc temperature is about 25 degrees cooler. I can see where the reviewers who say it breaks easily are coming from, as it isn't designed to get wet or be hit by debris. I have the overtray though and there are no problems.
