Very neat at first, but after a few months when all the ants die (which I knew would happen so I'm not upset about that), they all died on the bottom of the container under the gel. I didn't know how to get them out, so I just threw the whole thing out.
I wish the bottom unsnapped so I could clean it out and get more ants.

It's nie and easy to take care of my ants with this kit. I linked it with another kit that the ants seem to really enjoy.

We ordered the ants before Christmas and received them Dec 28th. We only received 16 ants when the instructions said we would receive about 25. Also, for a month the ants stayed on top of the gel nibbling, not digging tunnels. This month long wait to see ant activity bored our 5 yr old daughter after the first week. When the ants finally started digging 2 tunnels in late January no one cared.

FYI, the picture on the box is deceiving. The instructions said to poke 4 holes into the gel to start the tunnels, but the picture shows only 2 starter holes--we never saw any activity like what is shown on the box.
